Does Sunin Work On Brown Hair

Does sunin work on brown hair. I wish to make it lighter. The bleach didn t really work only on my roots but it did make the black just a little bit lighter. I started with uniform dark brown hair that had been previously dyed with permanent hair color a few months back not the best hair situation to start with but i figured i d try my luck.

I used it last summer for the same thing it worked great. My hair use to be black but recently a bleached it i guess you can say and dyed it dark brown. It does work but it takes a long time in the sun or with the hair dryer.

I ve got been utilising sunlight in for 30 years. The label on the cheerful yellow bottle that sun in comes in states that it works best on already fair hair or at the very least light brown hair. If you have dark brown hair then no it will not work and i always hear about it turning dark hair an orangish shade.

Hair was dark brown. If not is there any other lightening product i can use or another. Just spayed it on my end about 6 9 inches up and than would blow dry it.

Nicely it could have a definate reddish brown or auburn forged to it. I wouldn t expect it to work though unless you are planning on spending hours and hours outside. So i was wondering is sun in would work.

If you do it chances are your hair will turn out red though. Sun in is recommended for use on blonde to medium brown hair however i ve seen it work beautifully on black hair as well to lighten it a few shades. Although in theory sun in has the ability to lighten your hair or raise it a level it doesn t have the streng.
